We are a Toronto (Vaughan) based company that specializes in the manufacture and install of wood, metal and glass railings.

 

Cross street - Langstaff  RD & Keele Street 

The company is currently searching for filling an administrative role that includes responsibilities of purchasing and health and safety administration.  The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

All purchasing for the plant which includes:

Raw materials, lumber, metal, saw blades, perishable tooling, fasteners and any materials and parts and services needed in the plant

Purchasing for Installers:

Tools, perishable tooling, fasteners

Buying all office supplies including lunchroom supplies

Vehicle management

Track and schedule oil change and maintenance, renewal of plates etc.

Machine maintenance – In conjunction with the plant manager track and schedule maintenance, purchase parts as required, schedule preventative maintenance example air compressor semi annual

Collect quotes for sales

Update pricing for sales for job costing

Report spending weekly to management

Organize and track outsourced product - galvanizing, powder coating (delivery slips for tracking)

 

Health and safety

Set agenda for toolbox meeting, remind installers day before report tool box meeting to sites

Annual update site package

File monthly safety audit done by production team member

Track training information from all employees (keep on file in case requested by sites or Ministry of labour)

Ensure fire extinguishers checked annually including the ones in vehicles  

Update health and safety policies annually signed off by President

Review and sign health and safety policies for new sites

Any other duties as may be assigned by the company.
