Responsibilities:

• Conducting daily forklift checks
• Flexible in conducting inbound/outbound activities utilizing the current process in place.
• Developing and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and best practice
• Ensuring KPI targets are met daily, and that customer service is not compromised
• Liaison with the carriers to provide information and solve problems as they arise.
• Ensure that company standards are upheld in all areas of the operations
• Following all H&S aspects encouraging & mentoring staff to comply with WHMIS codes
• Driving company heavy commercial flatbed truck to supplier/customer

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Reach Truck and Counterbalance experience are required, certification preferred
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), stocking shelves, etc.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• 3+ years experience driving heavy commercial vehicle 
• Team player
• Previous experience to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience with Flatbed Loading and Un-loading is an advantage
