Our company is a Nationwide electrical contracting company providing commercial and industrial electrical services on a to both the private and public sectors.

Due to continued growth and an increase in inquiries we require an experienced electrical project coordinator to join our team in Regina SK. The successful applicant will work in an office role alongside our estimating and project management teams.

The individual shall be ambitious and well organized to enable them to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines. This role is a fantastic opportunity to join a young, striving company.

The main responsibilities of the role shall include:

• Scrutinize tender documents, drawings and specifications and identify key points
• Liaise with the customer in a professional manor regarding queries and tender addenda
• Produce detailed quantity take offs and material costing sheets
• Negotiate with multiple suppliers & specialist subcontractors to produce competitive contract sum analysis.
• Work well under pressure to meet tender submission deadlines, react to changes and produce value engineering solutions if required.
• When contract has been secured liaise closely with the relative contracts manager to ensure the contract is delivered as efficiently as possible.
• Produce systems for similar re-occurring tenders
• Update & Tracking of Supplier Purchase Orders, Change Orders.
• Shop Drawing Reviews and co-ordination of materials.
• Operation & Maintenance Manuals

The Ideal Individual:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years North American electrical project experience
• Electrical Engineering / Contracting Background
• Construction Electrician with strong Canadian Electrical Code Knowledge an advantage
• Strong Telephone / IT / Numeracy Skills
• Class 5 or Equivalent Driving License
• Highly Motivated
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Team Player, Friendly But Professional Persona
