Job Description

Our company is hiring an experienced Machinist or a 3rd to 4th year skilled apprentice to join our energetic team.  This position will compliment the team producing machined parts primarily on CNC and manual machining centers. They will also be responsible for keeping records and maintaining equipment and supplies. Starting wage is experience dependent, ranging from $25-35 per hour.  Hours of operation are 8am-430pm Monday to Friday.

Qualification &  Skills

• Set up and operate machine tools such as CNC, Manual Lathes, Milling machines, etc.
• Maintain tools, tooling, equipment, and working area.
• Machine quality parts to components specified tolerances and dimensions.
• Read, study and interpret engineer drawings, shop drawings and sketches.
• Use a variety of machinist’s hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Good documentation and organization skills.
• Able to effectively communicate and understand instruction, both verbal and written.
• Clear communication written and spoken English.
• Willingness to continually improve.
• Comply with company procedures and provincial regulations regarding a safe and respectful workplace.
