In this role you will provide extraordinary support services that enhance the customer’s experience on large or complicated projects and complex field service issues. You would help ensure the application of the product is appropriate and the product is installed and serviced according to company recommendations and industry best practices. The goal is to provide a superior customer experience while reducing risk associated with poor installation and service.

Highlights of your role

  • Take a consultative role on unique or complex installation projects.
  • Provide technical support and instruction on scenic door installation. Attend initial meeting to review jobsite conditions and communicate key information to ensure a successful installation. Follow-up with installer/builder 1-2 weeks prior to installation to ensure framing is on schedule and accurate. Provide instruction and oversee door assembly and installation with contractor for complicated jobs
  • Provide support on select projects, including field measure openings with channel partners; reviewing scope of work and ensuring jobsite conditions are consistent; reviewing recommended installation techniques of mock-up/samples; providing on-site/in house or virtual installation training; understanding project schedule and performing periodic inspections; and attending a walk through.
  • Review and approve submittal packages prior to forwarding to dealers/GC’s/architects
  • Take a lead role in training and mentoring field service technicians
  • Manage complex/escalated service issues as identified by leadership that involve the unique application of product, have potential legal impact, or are beyond the service capabilities of field service technicians.
  • Continually seek to improve product knowledge, technical skills and understanding of installation techniques and products to be used

You’re a good fit if you have

  • High school diploma
  • Excellent driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry, window/door installation
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Salesforce CRM
  • Confident communication skills with an ability to convey strong, clear messages to target audiences including employees, customers, pro trade personnel, and industry groups
  • Be a team leader, acknowledging that true leadership can only be bestowed by the group
  • Relationship building skills with the ability to create mutually beneficial relationships and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Exhibit confidence in self and of others; inspire and motivate; provide appropriate recognition
