Internship Description
Clayton County Water Authority’s Information Technology Department is seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
IT Intern Duties and Responsibilities
Support the IT team in basic day to day tasks
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
Identifying equipment, fixed asset documentation and network documentation
Moving computer related equipment
Assist Desktop Technician to deploy OS images to new equipment
Strong verbal and written communication
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in teams
Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving
some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and which may involve some lifting, carrying,
pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (25-50 pounds).
Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors,
sounds, and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
Environmental Factors: Essential functions are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental
conditions.
