Location: Brampton, ON

We are hiring full time Vehicle Loaders. This position is completely outdoors and would be responsible for preparing the rail cars for loading, driving the brand-new automobiles onto the rail cars, securing the vehicles down and preparing the rail cars for transportation. This is a full-time permanent position working on a day shift, and you must be flexible with up to 12 hours from the start of the shift as this position stays until all the cars are loaded but are typically done much sooner.

Compensation:

• $21.07/hr

Qualifications:

• No prior experience needed but 1+ years of general/heavy labour experience preferred
• Valid Ontario Full G Driving Licence
• Must be able to drive standard/manual transmission/stick shift
• Able to lift 65-80 lbs
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the rail car for loading
• Walk around inspection of vehicles before loading
• Drive the new vehicle from the staging area onto the rail car and park it
• Place the chock blocks in their proper position on both sides of the tire
• Place the strap into position around the tire and secure the vehicle
• Exit the train by climbing down the ladder railings on the outside of the Box car
