Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $30.00 per hour

8 hour shift - Monday to Friday

Duties Include:

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications; ensure drawings and specifications will function as designed in environment intended for use.
• Operation of a 5-axis waterjet table, including:
  • Inputting CAD models into waterjet control software.
  • Entering material type, thickness, and desired edge finish. 
  • Produce sample cuts and set cutting parameters.
  • Keep relevant material inventory control up to date.
  • Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues.
  • Machine maintenance and service.
• Operating, maintenance, set-up, and support of other in-house equipment, including but not limited to:
  • 3-Axis CNC vertical machining center
  • Hydraulic brake press
  • Sheet metal shear
• Maintain safe work practices.
• Conduct technical inspections.
• Liaise with internal and external customers for resolution of data and technical problems.
• Provide data to assist in monitoring and tracking project budgets and project status.
• Participate in project review and planning.
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology.

Experience:

• CNC Waterjet: 1+ year (preferred)
• Experience in metal fabrication environment: 5+ years (preferred)
