We are looking for a Customer Service Agent to join our team for our location in Markham, Ontario.

Role Overview

The customer service agent is the first point of contact for either walk-in clients or for telephone inquiries from customers. Assisting customers promptly and conducting all business in a friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable manner. 

 

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service and accounts payable


 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Takes order from the customer with good speed and a high level of accuracy and enter them into the software system.
  • As an integral part of the corporate team, ensure that customers are highly regarded and receive exceptional service either in a face-to-face or telephone interaction. As first point of contact for either the walk-in customer or the general telephone line, address their inquiry, triage and direct as appropriate, ensuring that customer wait time is well managed.
  • Provide timely support of the accounts receivable process, collecting from drivers, forwarding mail, picking up cheques or taking credit card orders.
  • While adhering to policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance, manage the general administration and provide office support for the company. Create the supplies order for Costco purchases and advise concern officer of required office supplies to be ordered from Staples.
  • Prepare the daily report of activity to be forwarded to the Operation Manager.
  • Carry out in-house sale.
  • Upon provision of adequate training, be familiar with LTL operation.
  • Maintain daily  driver  LOG – WB  paperwork – and  file  in each driver  file
  • Maintain storage boxes  of  drivers  in storage  room for  yearly WB  work
