Green Diamond Equipment is your Maritime John Deere Dealership with 15 locations to serve you, and we are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of IT Manager at our Head Office in Moncton, NB.

Purpose:

Oversee the delivery of all IT and Cybersecurity services and ensure they align with the business objectives of the organization. This individual’s principal goals are to ensure that the technology needs of the organization remain aligned with business, and that identified IT security and service levels are met

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the internal IT team in our day-to-day IT operations, equipment provisioning, user access management, endpoint maintenance, & contributing to the overall improvement.
  • Provides support to executive staff, and advice regarding standard office applications and best practices as it evolves with company needs
  • Work with stakeholders to define business and system requirements for new technology implementations
  • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
  • Manage vendor relationships, especially with SAAS providers
  • Works with appropriate personnel to establish and adhere to annual IT budget
  • Enforces policies to allow for the most cost-effective use of existing solutions
  • Maintains knowledge of current technology and stay abreast of new technological advancements to provide cost effective solutions for the company
  • Overseas the administration of all user IDs and passwords, grants clearance to systems and applications as appropriate
  • Safeguards technology systems and hardware through implementation of company’s security control framework by ensuring compliance to the company’s polices
  • Manages IT support to employees in all locations with prioritizing, troubleshooting, and resolving problems quickly
  • Escalates technology installation and support issues to appropriate dealership, partner, and vendor personnel as appropriate.
  • Mentors and trains other members of the IT Support staff.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Advanced knowledge of O365, including Teams, Exchange Online, Azure AD, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Experience with routers, servers, and network technology desired
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be willing to travel to company locations
  • Familiar with John Deere and competitive products desired
