 Job Description:

• Construct, maintain, repair, upgrade, and install industrial (ICI) structures made of wood, steel, concrete and other materials.
• Construct concrete formwork
• Concrete finishing
• Construct scaffolding
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Modify and rebuild industrial roofing
• Operate heavy equipment as needed
• Framing MC rooms and offices in industrial environments
• Install doors and windows

Requirements:

• Red Seal Carpenter certification
• 3rd and 4th year apprentices may be considered and are invited to apply
• Welding experience is considered an asset
• Good math skills
• Ability to use metric and imperial measurements
• Ability to work at heights
• Manual dexterity
• Preference for a minimum 5 years journeyman experience working in sawmills as an industrial carpenter
• Valid Class 5 drivers license 
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in high hazard environments
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and dependability
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must provide personal tooling and secure tool box
