Industrial Mechanic / Millwright

Responsibilities:

• General repairs and maintenance to plant machinery, mobile equipment, and buildings.
• Maintain & repair some building systems such as doors, docks, sump pumps, and lighting.
• Manage maintenance activities performed by other workers.
• Fabricate & build some equipment and parts.
• Assist with budgeting for repairs and capital maintenance.
• Maintain records of maintenance history.
• Maintain inventory of critical parts and supplies for maintenance purposes.
• Order parts and supplies from vendors as needed.
• Report any unsafe acts or conditions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in plant maintenance
• Experience with welding and fabrication
• Experience repairing/maintaining plant equipment such as pumps, mixers, mills, conveyors & drags, etc
• Experience working with manual & PLC-controlled processing systems.
• Basic knowledge of CMMS software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working at heights training
• Knowledge of confined space and lockout tag-out procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, & organizational skills
