POSITION: Part-Time (Permanent) – All Hands In Partnership Mentor/ Direct Support Professional

HOURS:    35 hours per week (Days, Evenings, Weekends)

NATURE OF POSITION

The All Hands In Partnership is looking for a dynamic, multi-tasker to mentor the All Hands In partners.  The successful candidate will assist partners to in the daily tasks of the business focusing on production, and filling orders.  This person will mentor the partners to build their brand, foster inter-personal, business and kitchen skills, finance skills, complimented by strong social media competency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ability to supervise and support partners within all facets of their working day.
  • Follow policies, procedures, mission, vision, values, organizational ends and directives of Community Living-Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln.
  • Plan and organize the day; prioritizing customer orders
  • Facilitate individual skill development by supporting goals lead by partners, assist partners to learn about all facets of the partnership and to be independent in the day to day practices of their business.
  • Pursue new business opportunities with partners
  • Maintain relationships with current customers
  • Maintain Instagram and Facebook accounts
  • Ensure and abide by Public Health & Safety guidelines related to operating a commercial kitchen
  • Assist partners with their individual goals, placing great consideration on skill development as suggested by partners.
  • Ensure proper hygiene practices are reinforced, oversee and lead by example when following occupational health & safety guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the field with preference given to those applicants who have worked within our agency, 2 or more of those years.        
  • All agency mandatory training must be current.
  • Kitchen skills; knowledge of basic cooking techniques, ingredient prepping, follow Well Preserved recipes, ensure proper hygiene practices are reinforced, oversee and lead by example when following occupational health & safety guidelines
  • Safe Food Handling Certificate (or ability to become certified within 6 weeks)
  • Marketing skills & attention to detail
  • Finance skills
  • Strong Computer skills in MS Office, e-mails, data base software (Share Vision), I Pads etc.
  • Record keeping & inventory management
  • Planning ahead, strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Available to flex schedule to work days, evenings and weekends
  • Energetic, confident, enthusiastic and self-directed individual with contacts in the community in the private and public sectors that can lead to job placements.
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office
  • Frequent bending, twisting and pushing
  • Current First Aid/Level C CPR & NVCI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention)
  • A valid ‘G’ driver’s license
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team
