POSITION Vice President, Partnerships and Chief Nursing Executive
Primary Site: Stratford
Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY
The VP Partnerships & Chief Nursing Executive is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating acute patient care and leading Nursing standards within the relevant provincial Acts, regulations and HPHA policies and procedures. A senior Leadership position demonstrating the mission, vision and values of the HPHA, the VP Partnerships & Chief Nursing Executive is an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and interfaces with HPHA Local Advisory Committees and Foundations, Ministry Representatives, regional Chief Nursing Executives and other official organizations and agencies as required.
REPORTS TO President and Chief Executive Officer

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Baccalaureate in Nursing and Masters in Nursing or health related field
- Current Licensure with College of Nurses of Ontario
- Courses in Health Care Administration
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education
- Thorough understanding of related legislation
Experience
- Minimum five years of progressive Management experience
- Significant experience working collaboratively with/leading a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and achievement
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing change
Abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and administrative abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven commitment to community relations, Patient Experience and collaborative practice
