We are a retail company selling premium windows and doors with locations across Canada. We are looking for professional and talented window installers who want to grow and thrive in our company. The primary responsibility for the job is to install premium windows in new construction or renovation projects in Ontario. The ideal individual must have a proven track record of exceptional workmanship, customer-centric, self driven, reliable, dependable and have the desire to always raise the bar to the next level. Training on our products will be provided through an on-boarding process as well with factory training at our parent company’s manufacturing base in the US.

 

Essential Functions

  • Meet with homeowners to confirm specifications, assist in contract confirmation, and perform technical measurements
  • Execute window installations utilizing various trade methods standard within the industry
  • Removing and installing new windows in existing homes or new home builds
  • Insulating perimeter of openings and caulking around perimeter of newly installed windows
  • Cutting and installing jamb extensions and trim
  • Provide exceptional customer service through professional and courteous communication and treatment of our customers
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with the head office team to assist in product service in addition to installation
  • Communicate all product and install issues to appropriate parties including customers and our Installation project manager
  • Always adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment
  • Working from ladders and/or scaffolding
  • Loading and unloading; maintaining a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and upon completion on work

 

Your Qualifications

  • 5+ years of window installation experience and 3 years of carpentry & residential construction experience, preferred
  • Window and Door experience and door carpentry skills
  • Knowledgeable in construction equipment safety, appropriate materials, methods, and tools required in various construction processes is an asset
  • Extensive experience working with wood, aluminum and caulking in interior/exterior trim applications including aluminum break
  • Excellent attention to detail, and ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency
  • Strong work ethic, results-driven, “getting-it-done” attitude
  • Solution-oriented and innovative thinking abilities
  • Possess a customer-centric mindset, providing superior customer service, while observing professionalism and diplomacy at all times
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills at multiple levels
  • Comfortable working under pressure and able to multi-task
  • Able to competently use power tools and equipment to perform service
  • Comfortable working on ladders, platforms, scaffolding and at ease with heights
  • Aptitude to work with required technology, software applications, CRM platform
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean drivers’ abstract
  • Personal hand tools are a must

 

Work Conditions

  • Exposure to hazards associated with the industry/trade

  • Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects minimum 50 lbs
  • Operation and use of necessary tools, machinery, or equipment
  • Regular exposure to conditions including heat, humidity, and dust
  • Use of required personal protective equipment
