Shop Supervisor

OurSt. Thomas, ON location has an immediate opening for an experienced Shop Supervisor.

Role Overview:

If you have worked in the door or cabinetry industry, have shop/warehouse supervision in a production/warehouse environment including machine operation, this opening may be a great fit!

In this role you will focus on the daily supervision of employees while physically working and setting the production pace with the team.

 

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Compensation: Hourly wage is dependent on experience.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of machine operation experience (Magnum machine preferred)
  • 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience
  • Door/cabinet industry experience preferred
  • Forklift and Reach Truck experience
  • Good attention to detail and quality
  • Familiar with basic hand and power tools
  • A basic mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch
  • Able to frequently and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with fellow employees and customers
  • Ability to address workplace situations in a calm, respectful, positive, and productive manner
