This position requires knowledge of the heavy construction industry as it relates to the techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, and safety associated with the construction of water/sewage treatment plants and lift stations specifically. We have several project in various stages throughout Manitoba and Ontario.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Laying out, assembling, and fabricating piping systems - specifically SS/PVC
• Installing plumbing and heating systems and fixtures, including gas fitting 
• Installing water and sewage treatment equipment and systems
• Read, interpret, and complete tasks based on plans & specifications 
• Some work on large scale heavy construction projects
• Pipefitting stainless steel fabrications
  

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Plumbing certificate an asset
  
• Minimum 2nd year apprenticeship complete
• Minimum 2 years experience in the plumbing industry
• Experience with water/sewage treatment equipment installation would be an asset 
• Valid WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Aerial Work Platform, and Confined Space would be an asset 
• Valid drivers license
