We are seeking an Aluminum Window & Door Fabricator for our Langley  BC plant.

Our company, Commercial Glazing Systems, is an innovative fabricator and installer of custom, precision aluminum storefront and curtain wall systems in the greater Vancouver area.  We are investing in technology, equipment and in our team and require an experienced Fabricator to lead our shop, solve challenges and continually improve processes.       

Competencies:

• Have 3 or more years’ experience in the fabrication of curtain wall and store front systems (which may be combined with onsite installations experience)
• Have computer skills to navigate our evolving systems
• Have the ability to read and interpret drawings
• Be a quick learner who is willing to develop themselves and be trained
• Be a leader who communicates effectively and solves challenges
• Be results oriented who enjoys working in a team and getting things done efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Work with Project Managers to understand the scope and specifications of projects
• Use ERP systems for scheduling, inventory and monitoring work in progress
• Oversee and work with a small staff of fabricators
• Ensure maintenance of CNC and other machines and forklifts
• Organize and prepare supplies for outgoing jobs
• Receive incoming materials and glass
• Solve production challenges in a team environment
