POSITION: Golf Course Equipment Technician

WAGE: $18.00-22.00/hour

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

STATUS OF POSITION: Summer Seasonal

Position Summary

The Golf Course Equipment Technician will be responsible for assisting the Head Mechanic with the turf maintenance and golf cart fleet. Our ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and have previous experience in mechanics, small engine repair, working with hydraulic and electrical systems and reel grinding.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all turf equipment and golf carts in our fully equipped maintenance facility
• Keep all machinery, tools and service equipment in safe working order
• Keep detailed records of scheduled and completed equipment maintenance and repair
• Perform administrative duties such as: vehicle maintenance records, inventory control, safety checklists for equipment
• Follow all health and safety guidelines as required by the Resort

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience of maintaining/troubleshooting engines (small, Diesel, Gas)
• Experience of maintaining/troubleshooting hydraulic pumps/hoses
• Experience of electrical systems on equipment
• Must be available to work weekends as needed
