Position Summary

Our Golf Attendants play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Valley golf course. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to golfers, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the facility and equipment and assisting with various tasks to enhance the overall golfing experience for guests.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follows proper opening and closing procedures of the Golf Back Shop
  • Assists with organization of tournaments and events
  • Ensures all equipment is cleaned before and after play
  • Tags all equipment with appropriate information
  • Maintains the fleet of the golf carts at all times
  • Maintains the lost and found program
  • Ensures golfers are checked in before play
  • Maintains up to date knowledge on golf rates and programs as well as the Resort and amenities inventory
  • Assist with golfers equipment from the parking lot and bag drop area
  • Keeps patio, garage, range, and garden free from garbage and debris
  • Completes all other duties as assigned

  • Has exceptional energy, flexibility and professionalism 
  • Has effective communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Is familiar with the operations of golf carts and range equipment
  • Able to adapt in a fast pace, constant changing environment
  • Able to maintain composure and objectivity
  • Able to identify problems and make recommendations for improvements
  • Is flexible with their schedule, able to work long hours, shift work, evenings, weekends and holidays as business levels require

 

Education & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and terminology.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
