Description

Lake of the Woods District Hospital is currently seeking a summer student in the Communications department. If you are looking for work for the summer, to expand your skillset and gain valuable experience we want to hear from you! The ideal student would be one who is interested in pursing a career in communications, public relations or journalism and has experience with iMovie or other video creation software. The student will be a key support for promotional material creation including videos and photo database.

Qualifications

  • Currently a student enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution and returning in the fall
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to complete tasks independently and work as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office
  • Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position
  • Proficient in or willingness to learn social media platforms, preferably LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Class G driver's license
  • Reliable attendance record
